Winnie & Mark’s Wedding {Grazing}

Hi and welcome to Iconic Photography. My name is Nicholas Brown and I am a Canberra wedding photographer.

Call me old fashioned, but apart from the bride and groom, to me it is the guests at the wedding that are the difference between a good wedding and a great wedding. Don’t get me wrong, the venue is important and the DJ or the band play their part, but the vibe or the wedding will be set by the guests.

In the case of Winnie and Mark, you couldn’t ask for a better group of people. Of course the bridal party of Jessica, Victoria, Rahul and Tim were invaluable in helping Winnie and Mark with the preparation of the wedding. However, it didn’t stop there: Victoria’s friends helped by setting up the reception venue, Jessica’s fiancé, Tim played music and sang at the ceremony, Victoria’s fiancé, Andrew was a magnificent chauffeur and Winnie’s brother Vincent was MC extraordinaire. Nonetheless, the most special family moment of the day for me was when Winnie’s dad, Ming, walked Winnie down the aisle and then spun around and married them.

It is amazing how much effort Winnie and Mark’s friends and family went to. But we cannot forget why they went to this much effort. It is because Winnie and Mark are worth it. It is easy to see that Winnie and Mark have fostered wonderful connections with their friends and family over the years and these people wanted nothing more than to make this a very special day for the happy couple.

Thank you, Winnie and Mark for allowing me to play a small role in your special day.

Thanks for visiting Iconic Photography. My name is Nicholas Brown and I am a Canberra wedding and family photographer. I am also a husband, a father and a bit of a nerd. What I love about wedding and family photography is getting to know people, listening to their stories and then helping them tell their story. Oh … and I also love coffee. So, if you’d like to sit down over a cup and tell me your story, I would love to hear it and help you share it.
