A Day in the Life of The Kinch’s

I endeavour to take photos that tell a story. In this case, the story of the Kinch’s.

To me, family means love, laughter, support, acceptance, safety and laughter. Did I already say laughter? Well, let’s just say laughter is really important to me.

The Kinch’s sum up my definition of family to a tee. I just spent a weekend with these guys in their picturesque little town on the south coast of NSW. They play together, laugh together and surf together. It doesn’t get much more awesome than time with the Kinch’s.

I was treated to pancakes for breakfast, surfing at the beach, Mexican dinner at an amazing local restaurant and a rendition of Rip Tide (credit to Vance Joy) by the family. Yep – they also sing together. Did someone say too perfect to be true?!

It was pretty difficult to turn the car around and drive back to Canberra. I am already looking forward to my next weekend with the Kinch’s.

My hope today is that the Kinch’s like the photos. My hope in 30 years time is that they treasure them.

Thanks for visiting Iconic Photography. My name is Nicholas Brown and I am a Canberra wedding and family photographer. I am also a husband, a father and a bit of a nerd. What I love about wedding and family photography is getting to know people, listening to their stories and then helping them tell their story. Oh … and I also love coffee. So, if you’d like to sit down over a cup and tell me your story, I would love to hear it and help you share it.
