Shelly & Hydeki’s Commitment Ceremony {Home}

Hi and welcome to Iconic Photography. My name is Nicholas Brown and I am a Canberra wedding photographer. Today I bring you the story of Shelly and Hydeki’s commitment ceremony in Canberra.

This lovely couple invited me to play a small role in their commitment ceremony a few weeks ago. It was a wonderful day. They had the ceremony in the parkland behind Shelly’s mums house. Following the ceremony, each of the guests picked up their chairs and carried them into the backyard. They looked like a parade of ants.

Shelly met Hydeki while working in Japan and they still live there together. They married last year in Japan but wanted to have a celebration in Canberra, and celebrate they did. They had a marquee for drinks, games for the kids (and big kids) and the food was phenomenal; beef, salmon and wonderful salads.

Shelly, Hydeki, their friends and family put on a perfect home grown wedding and it was a pleasure to be there. All the best for the future Shelly and Hydeki.

Thanks for visiting Iconic Photography. My name is Nicholas Brown and I am a Canberra wedding and family photographer. I am also a husband, a father and a bit of a nerd. What I love about wedding and family photography is getting to know people, listening to their stories and then helping them tell their story. Oh … and I also love coffee. So, if you’d like to sit down over a cup and tell me your story, I would love to hear it and help you share it.

    After a family discussion while at the coast, we made a late decision to hire a photographer for Shelly and Hideki’s Commitment Ceremony. We made contact with three photographers but Nick responded immediately. I loved his website and after discussing our needs with him, I knew we had struck a pot of gold. He took a variety of beautiful photos which reflected every aspect of the occasion.
    Every age was represented as the enjoyed all aspects of the occasion including pictures of the delicious food, the games, the marquees and the official ceremony.
    Thank you Nick, we are delighted that you were available to be our photographer.ReplyCancel
