Novak’s Orthodox Christening in Canberra

Welcome to Iconic Photography. My name is Nicholas Brown and I am a Canberra wedding and family photographer.

A couple of weeks ago I was very fortunate to photograph Novak’s orthodox christening in Canberra. One of the wonderful things about being a photographer is that I get to experience other cultures, go new places and meet new people. On this particular day, I got all three.

This family is wonderful. Kov, Petar, Gordana and all their friends and family were so welcoming. Also – Novak is pretty darn cute so it wasn’t hard at all to make him look good in the photos (as you’ll see below). The weather was also perfect for the day. It was 20 degrees and the sun was shining. A perfect Canberra day.

During the ceremony at St. Sava church in Farrer, Novak was such a calm and happy little guy. What a gem of a boy! Following the ceremony, Kov and co. did an amazing job setting up the Glasshouse at Pialligo Estate. The venue (and the food) was amazing. There was even games and toys for the kids (and the adults) to play with outside.

I hope you like the photos. Thanks again to Kov, Petar, Gordana and your friends and family for making me feel so welcome.

Thanks for visiting Iconic Photography. My name is Nicholas Brown and I am a Canberra wedding and family photographer. I am also a husband, a father and a bit of a nerd. What I love about wedding and family photography is getting to know people, listening to their stories and then helping them tell their story. Oh … and I also love coffee. So, if you’d like to sit down over a cup and tell me your story, I would love to hear it and help you share it.
