I would like to introduce you to some new friends I made recently, Claudia and Alex. I was lucky enough to take some photos of these cute kids along with their parents, David and Alanna, a few days ago.
Whoever said the famous words, “never work with kids or animals”, missed out on a lot of fun in life. Don’t get me wrong, photographing kids can sometimes be challenging, but it also some of the most rewarding photography I have done. The first few minutes of the photo shoot the kids hide behind their parents and act all shy, but before long they are laughing, singing and running. My philosophy for family photography sessions is to start by introducing myself to everyone, including the kids, and then taking a step back. I photograph the family from 20 – 30 m away until the kids warm up a little bit. It doesn’t take too long until they are running at the camera.
If you would to capture some special family memories, please have a look at my family page and contact me if you would like any further information. Thanks for stopping by to look at my photos.
